She is a licensed acupuncturist in both New York and New Jersey and is board certified in Oriental Medicine (Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology) by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Shuang has been practicing acupuncture in Manhattan since 2005. Prior to establishing her current practice on the Upper East Side, she worked at an office on 80 Central Park West alongside a gastroenterologist, where she treated many patients with digestive disorders, including Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Ulcerative Colitis, SIBO, Crohn’s Disease, and Celiac Disease. In 2013, she relocated her practice to its current Upper East Side location.
Shuang specializes in women’s health—including menstrual regulation, dysmenorrhea, fertility support, postpartum care, and menopausal symptom relief—as well as digestive health, anxiety, and depression.
